I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to make this show at Easy Street Records last night, but plans got switched around and Scott & I jetted to West Seattle. We showed up to a giant crowd overflowing onto the street, but luckily we were able to fight our way through and get upstairs.
I didn’t know if I was going to shoot since it was kind of hard to see and I didn’t want to be THAT photographer that’s pushing people out of the way. I did manage to shoot a little bit from the stairs, though.

dovekins + paper bird + spirits of the red city
It’s no secret that I have a ridiculous amount of love for the Minneapolis music community. Minneapolis is where I fell in love with live music and I’ve been missing them A LOT since I moved to Tacoma. Last night The Warehouse hosted an incredible show at the Peabody Waldorf in Tacoma with Dovekins, Paper Bird, and Spirits of the Red City that gave me a little slice of the energy of live music in Minneapolis and it made me fall in love with Tacoma even more. If you’re in Tacoma, check out what’s happening and support the live music that’s being cultivated here. It’s already wonderful + inspiring and can only get better with your love.
